Buzz Lightyear is expected to be the country's best-selling toy come Christmas, a full decade after the
last one set the tills ringing.
A toy retailer has said that the space ranger hero is likely to be the most popular toy
this year, after Disney Pixar released its latest film in the Toy Story franchise.
"The film has enjoyed the best ever opening weekend for Disney Pixar, so we think Toy Story
3 stuff will be pretty big later this year.
"Last time around, in 1999 when Toy Story 2 was released, it was huge. You just couldn't get your hands on
enough stock."

"We are advising parents to shop early, especially if their child is
